Junior Experts Exchange Program 2023 “Green Hydrogen Technologies” [Deadline: 2023/03/25] Since more than 20 years, young scientists from Japan and Germany are invited for a 8 days-visiting program to the other country. The program provides an opportunity for natural scientists to get first-hand information of the research structure, scientific and technological developments by visits to research institutions and companies, contacts to other scientists in related fields of research etc. |

Japan Market Discovery Program [Deadline: 2023/02/24] The German Accelerator offers the Japan Market Discovery Program. The program is for high-potential startups in Germany looking to expand to Japan. Selected startups will get to attend a 1-week immersion trip to interact with the local ecosystem and gain authentic cultural experiences.

PhD scholarships – Research on Forced Migration [Deadline: 2023/04/14] Are you a young researcher working on the topic of forced migration and interested in conducting research in Germany? RUB Research School and the Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research invite excellent young researchers to apply for one of three doctoral research grants of the Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (Sylff) by April 14, 2023. Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of 1,500 euro for a period of three years starting in summer 2023.

Deep Dive on German Energy Transition and German Hydrogen Policies (March 1) On March 1st, a keynote lecture and discussion between two of the most relevant experts in the field of hydrogen policies will be streamed live on the DWIH Youtube channel: Dr. Felix Chr. Matthes, Research Coordinator for Energy and Climate Policy at the Öko-Institut – Institute for Applied Ecology, will provide an overview of the latest developments in the field of hydrogen ramp-up in Germany, followed by comments and discussions with Prof. Takao Kashiwagi of the Institute of Innovative Research, Tokyo Institute of Technology. |
