Junior Experts Exchange Program 2023 “Green Hydrogen Technologies”

[Deadline: 2023/05/07] After a break of three years due to the pandemic situation, the Junior Experts Exchange Program will be resumed in 2023!

Since more than 20 years, young scientists from Japan and Germany are invited for a 8 days-visiting program to the other country. The program provides an opportunity for natural scientists to get first-hand information of the research structure, scientific and technological developments by visits to research institutions and companies, contacts to other scientists in related fields of research etc. On the long run, a bilateral network of young researchers is going to be established which offers points of contacts for further Japanese-German cooperation in various fields.
The program is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Japan) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Germany).

In 2023, the Junior Experts Exchange Program will focus on “Green Hydrogen Technologies”. Invited are up to 8 Japanese young researchers (under 40) from research institutes and companies. The program in Germany will take place from June 10 to June 18, 2023, a workshop with German alumni of the program is planned for June 17. Deadline for application is May 07, 2023. Applications should be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan.
